As part of our Safe Summer initiative, CCD is organizing Occupy the Corner. This is about bringing the community together to create a visible and positive presence in high-risk areas, Occupy the Corner aims to deter violence and create safer, stronger communities.

We did it! Astoria Houses. 365 days where no one has been shot. We applaud the community, stakeholders, partners and everyone involved, because they all worked hard to achieve this. This is a testimony to how we can come together and solve our problems without violence.

At CCD, we take honor in crafting solutions to foster violence interruption networks and transform institutional culture. Our mission? Empowering and engaging those at the heart of violent activities guiding them towards personal growth, financial and professional independence.

Coming together in prayer and purpose, we joined the Queens Anti-Gun Violence Vigil to honor the victims of the tragic July 8th shootings in South Queens. Let's shine a spotlight on the underlying crises and work towards a safer future.
