Celtic face competition to hold onto loan star Julian Araujo with Mexican side Cruz Azul planning a summer move.
The former Barcelona right back has been a huge hit with Hoops fans following his loan move from Bournemouth in January.
His deal does not include an option to buy and he is set to return to the English Premier League club after the season finishes.
However, he looks unlikely to play any role for Bournemouth after he was frozen out of the first team before he moved to Glasgow on loan.
And reports in Mexico have stated that ambitious side Cruz Azul have targeted Araujo with a return to his homeland if they can reach an agreement with Bournemouth, where he still has three years left of his deal.
The Mexico City club sold their right back Jorge Sanchez to Greek outfit PAOK and want a replacement, with Araujo's name heavily linked.
Araujo, 24, has become a key man for Martin O'Neill's side and has made 13 appearances for Celtic since making his debut in an Old Firm defeat at the start of January.
