BYU 25th in the latest ESPN power rankings: espn.com/mens-college-b… I don't like the word "controversial" attached to BYU's win at Arizona. That was a straight-up win, no diminishing qualifiers needed. The hip-check was a foul. Furthermore, Richie Saunders had to make two free throws with his team trailing and only three seconds to play in a raucous enemy gym. The game was not decided on the whistle. In fact, Richie and one of his teammates had just missed free throws moments earlier. The winning foul shots were by no means a foregone conclusion. Arizona took and made 11 more FTs than BYU and was whistled for three fewer fouls. Yes, it was a wild finish and yes, some Arizona fans made national news for their boorishness, but to call the win controversial intentionally detracts from what BYU did in scoring 96 points and winning at McKale. And ESPN has the record wrong: BYU is 20-8.

One final round of snow showers at the end of a stormy week delivered 14" to our upper mountain over the last 24 hours. Snow levels finally reached down to our base, and we picked up just about 2" of snow at our lowest elevations in the same time period. ❄️
