@JamesBoatman3 A union is the action of joining together or the fact of being joined together, the CCU will bring the clubs together thus forming a union.

@ccusport Well don’t call yourself a union then. The name is actually quite important…. And the definition of funding split matters as well. One of my greatest bugbears is the RFU definitions of Pro and Community game. We are a continuum and the split definition is very unhelpful IMolO

@JamesBoatman3 We are NOT a competing Union. 50:50 split refers to the funding in the game. 50 to professional rugby and 50 to community. Recently Francis Baron (former RFU Chief Exec) stated that the funding was closer now to 70/30 in favour of pro rugby.

@ccusport Agreed. So what does splitting funding 50:50 mean then? I am all for better allocation of resources and not using RFU funds to support pro clubs with self inflicted debt issues but definitions matter. We are one game and have to be, setting up a competing union is questionable?

@JamesBoatman3 Hi James, all clubs are community clubs regardless of level. There is no membership criteria.

@ccusport What is the definition of a community club? Across England we currently have fully pro clubs, semi-pro clubs that pay some match fees etc, clubs that just pay their coaches, and fully amateur clubs. All are rugby clubs with one union. What are the membership criteria for the CCU?

So if we are wrong @Scienceofsport Ross Tucker (employed by @WorldRugby) the best place to tackle is the green zone? Sternum to waist. Waist to ankle is a lightly less deeper red (you call it orange). Perhaps @EnglandRugby could now let us know why the change from that?

“What that looked like on the mannequin” this is from the women in rugby coach day (Friday) at Welford Rd. Is this the coaching all clubs will receive? “We are looking to make contact with this side area” yes mate that’s the hip and that’s hard as well.

Can we assume even a level 9, 3rd team player (sorry guys) at Old Rubberdoinans brings his knees up as well….and might actually break into a job. How does that look?

There is a full video we are putting on Facebook (twitter doesn’t allow long videos) not blaming the coaches but this is just tosh. We are also importing 2000 mannequins so clubs can have their own to help with tackle law changes 🙈
