Hard to tell with 100% confidence, but it appears that the air cast was put around Sanford’s ankle and not his knee. That would qualify as relatively “good” news in terms of Sanford being able to eventually return this season.
Obviously, this is still all just speculation.

Here is a look at Texas A&M LB Daymion Sanford getting carted off the field. Air splint was on his lower left leg. Was able to get helped onto the cart, but rode it off. Sanford had a Maroon Team-high 4 tackles and one QB hurry. Ended up calling halftime early after the injury.

@billyliucci @Alec_Gators @AmandaMAtwell @Moving_Goalpost I believe Reed can make the NFL. He’s going to need numbers, though. Minimum entry level stats- play at 200 pounds, complete 68% , 3500 total yards, 30 total td’s, 8 total turnovers. (Regular season, add at same rate for playoffs). Do this, and the rest takes care of itself.

@Alec_Gators @ccwarcat @AmandaMAtwell @Moving_Goalpost I think calling him a one-read and run is an exaggeration but he needs to (and I believe will) make notable strides this fall as a passer. He's also not going to ever be the 'NFL prototype prospect' like Arch is. Just needs to be better in college this fall and this November

@pistolsnowood @Blain_Crain Is it though? There’s a step up on offense with the new skill guys, but also a step back on defense with key departures. And even though Manning played well enough in the later games, he played very poorly for 7.75 games before miracle #2.
