We built DNA scaffold crystals that can be reprogrammed to host different guest proteins for X-ray structure determination — no new crystallization screen required. This animation shows a guest protein (glowing) seeking its designed binding site inside the crystal lattice.

Full preprint on bioRxiv: biorxiv.org/content/10.648… We'd love to connect with groups working on DNA-binding proteins, structural biology platforms, or DNA nanotechnology — and we're especially interested in hearing from anyone whose target might be a good fit for this approach.
