I find it absolutely amazing that @Microsoft cannot work out a way to have a photo screensaver to work across multiple monitors in windows 10 or 11.

@waub I listened to the brilliant audio book while, fittingly, I took my dogs on a daily walk through the woods. Not at all the right season (although unseasonably warm in northwest Ontario), but it helped set the mood. Congratulations - great story!

Does any company build a TV with adequate audio for a regular / small living room?

Of course the assumption is I will buy a Samsung bar so that it’s “compatible”. Nopity! I will forever be embarrassed that when I watch a movie on my Samsung TV, any bass requirement is sorely under-accommodated - actual distortion. End result? I abhor the TV manufacturer.

TV Audio - a cautionary tale. Is it true that more modern TVs are shipped with absolute garbage audio systems built in? @SamsungCanada ? Fairly new Samsung TV is absolutely awful for audio and I’m thinking the intention is that I hate it and eventually cave and buy a sound bar.

Is it just the fact of life now that TV manufacturers ship TVs with Walkie-talkie quality speakers as a scam to force extra purchases? I’m not looking for theatre quality audio - just not something that sounds like I’m listening to a movie over a 1970s phone line.

I will probably add a set of bookshelf speakers to my stereo and connect in.
