GTA 6's "standard" edition is actually the $100 Ultimate Edition. Rockstar just gutted it to give people an easier entry point, and still raised the price and nixxed physical editions. Only a game like GTA 6 could do all that in one fell swoop and still sell bajillions of copies.

Downsides of not having physical games: > Collectors have nothing tangible to own. > You can’t lend games to friends or family. > You can’t resell or trade your games. > No used-game market means no cheaper second-hand copies. > You’re dependent on your account to access your library. > Large downloads are usually required. > If storefronts or authentication servers have issues, access to some games can be affected. > You don’t truly own a transferable copy, you own a license. > You’re paying the same price as a physical copy, but you only receive a digital license.

Se priver du plus gros événement du jeu vidéo des 8 dernières années parce que y'a pas de disque dans la boite et que c'est «contraire à mes valeurs» 😹😹

Monthly global hardware sales estimates: 🔴 Switch 2 - 1.23M 🔵 PS5 - 389K 🔴 Switch - 165K 🟢 Xbox - 118K - Switch 2 still holding strong in first - PS5 down due to price hike - Xbox in 4th place behind even the original Switch - PS5 outsells Xbox 3.2-to-1

The hype for a partial game is killing me. People are willing to pay $80 for scraps.
