Anthropic just launched the Claude Architect Certification!
You’ll have to complete 60 multiple-choice questions across five competency areas in a single session. No external resources or breaks.
Here’s how I’m planning to prepare for it (steal my roadmap):
Week 1
Complete the recommended courses:
- Building with the Claude API
- Introduction to Model Context Protocol
- Claude Code in Action
- Claude 101
Week 2
Build real projects with:
- Claude Code
- Agent SDK
- Anthropic API
- MCP
Week 3
Get familiar with the exam structure and guide:
- Go through the six exam scenarios
- Get familiar with the five competency areas / domains
- Learn the skills needed for each task assessment
Week 4
Do the preparation exercises from the exam guide:
- Build a Multi-Tool Agent with Escalation Logic
- Configure Claude Code for a Team Development Workflow
- Build a Structured Data Extraction Pipeline
- Design and Debug a Multi-Agent Research Pipeline
Week 5
- Take the practice exam
- Aim for a score greater than 850 / 1000
Week 6
- Take the real exam
- Only one attempt allowed
NOTES:
- At this point the certification is exclusive for Anthropic Partners and early access is free for first 5,000 partner company employees.
- Your mileage may vary depending on your skill level. E.g. It may take 2 weeks for some but 10 weeks for others.

This is insane from Google
- google just dropped a full stack
vibecoding system
- builder that creates full apps with db, auth, multiplayer and firebase
- it auto sets up what you need, remembers your project and installs libraries
- you can leave and return and it continues where you stopped
- one click deploy, now going after claude code and codex.

Just heard from someone at a major cloud provider - RTO mandate just dropped internally with 5 days notice
3 offices in Austin, Denver, and Portland being consolidated into their main Seattle campus
Zero relocation assistance. Zero remote exceptions. Zero negotiation period.
2,847 employees affected. 1,712 of them have been fully remote for 3+ years with families, mortgages, kids in local schools
The Seattle office has desk space for maybe 800 people max
Internal Slack already lighting up with resignation letters. 127 posted in the first 2 hours after the announcement
Finance team ran the numbers - they're budgeting for 1,680 voluntary departures by the deadline
That saves them $340M in severance they'd have to pay for layoffs
One director told his team straight up: "They want 60% of you gone and they want you to quit so they don't have to explain it to shareholders"
The remaining 40% will be so desperate they'll take any conditions, any workload, any pay freeze
Meanwhile the job market is completely frozen. These people have nowhere to go
HR is calling it a "return to collaborative excellence" while accounting calls it "voluntary workforce optimization"
If you got hit by this... the math was never about productivity
They're using your mortgage against you

when you become the only one at work that:
> understands claude code

> understands the claude api
> understands model context protocols
and you become a claude “architect”: 👇

Anthropic just announced the "Claude Certified Architect" program.
And you can start today.
In 16 years of my professional career, I haven't done a single certification.
Not one.
Not AWS. Not Azure. Not Google Cloud. Not PMP. Not Scrum. Not any of the alphabet soup.
I learned by building. By breaking things. By shipping.
But I'm about to break that streak.
I'm going for my first-ever certification:
Claude Certified Architect — Foundations
Here's why this matters — especially if you're a developer, engineer, or any professional who feels like the AI wave is moving too fast.
Claude Code launched a few weeks ago.
And it feels like a paradigm shift.
Not an incremental upgrade. Not another chatbot wrapper.
A fundamentally different way of building software.
Agentic architecture. Tool orchestration. MCP integration. Context management at a systems level.
If those words sound intimidating — that's exactly why this certification exists.
It covers everything from agentic orchestration to prompt engineering to Claude Code workflows.
Not surface-level content.
And here's what got me:
It costs nothing.
Free. Zero. $0.
So if you've been feeling left behind... If you've been watching others ship AI agents while you're still figuring out where to start... If you've been telling yourself "I'll learn this next quarter"...
This is your sign.
Stop scrolling. Start building.
First certification in 16 years. Let's see how this goes.
