@SimsTazmon @ValeraSZN Straw has had just about average defense this year in the outfield. Still a plus defender, but he can’t hit the ball for his life. He’s way too much of a liability to hit in this order, that is trying for compete for a championship. Pinch runner suits him.

This organization needs a complete revamp offensively. I don't care how you do it. I'd rather see 3 bombs a game with 12 strikeouts than 5 scattered infield hits every night. This current team can't even scatter hits together. Just a complete total system failure.

@nollmatt @CleGuardPro Rosario is a known slap hitter, he has one of the lowest OPS’s in the league. Also, they acquired a POWER bat for the future. This team as constructed isn’t going anywhere, they made the necessary move to set them up for success in 2024-26 and onward.

@CleGuardPro I guess you like this lineup of slap hitters. This team will finish 15 games under 500. The guys they traded are better players than the guys they are playing.

@FranmilsEyebrow There’s a difference between eating up innings and allowing 5-7 runs per start… The Guardians cannot score to keep up with what Syndergarrd gives up

Cleveland needed a rental SP to eat innings for two months, and they needed to free up at bats for the kids to play at shortstop. They achieved both in one fell swoop. Please stop bitching.

@OurCLEGuardians My biggest issue with it is that it isn’t held at the stadium anymore. It was much cooler walking through parts of the stadium you’d never typically see

Only major issue I have with Guards Fest (and Tribe Fest before it) is not knowing who you're getting with an auto ticket. I'd pay a premium (and buy multiple tix) to be guaranteed certain players and think others would too. With the blind draw, we typically only buy one ticket.

@FranmilsEyebrow @Coleapayne Agreed but with a lot of guys on this team I could definitely see them taking smaller $ extensions to stay with this group of guys and organization, Andres could be different however. All the guys came up in the farm with eachother and succeed well as a group

@wrm217 @PrimeWallner @emtb123 @JLEWFifty I do think he’s elite. Most of his skills and attributes are ones that you can’t teach most of the LFs in the game. Guy like him is real crucial come playoff time. Small sample size, but you could call it from spring training last year he wa gonna be good.

@PrimeWallner @cedigitals @emtb123 @JLEWFifty All day, every day. And I like Kwan, but "elite" is doing some heavy lifting there. One year and didn't exactly give you elite corner OF production. Elite CF production? Sure.

Kwan finishing 3rd in the AL ROY voting is absolutely ridiculous. No reason and no explanation for it whatsoever.
