The fastest qualifier at Daytona in 2003 was this Corvette built by Trans Am team Derhaag Motorsports specifically for the GTS class in Grand Am. The car wouldn't start on pole as the organizers moved the new Daytona Prototypes to the front of the grid, and would blow it's engine
