Last week I learned I was awarded a large federal grant! I'm excited, but also just wanna put out there that it has taken 12 proposals & 6 yrs before I secured external funding. And this proposal that was eventually funded - it was my 3rd time submitting to this same program.

In this paper, I engage a desire-based research framework to understand how refugee parents support their children’s futures. I present Concerted Community Engagement, a new way of understanding refugee parents’ agentic work to shape their children’s schooling.
