Pennsylvania Hospital (Penn Medicine) employee Michael Nocella films a TikTok at work portraying a harmful stereotype of greedy, money-hungry Jews.
This kind of conduct is unacceptable in any professional setting, especially in healthcare, and must be addressed @PennMedicine.

🇵🇱 Poland’s main opposition party, Law and Justice, has announced a major citizenship reform if it wins next year’s parliamentary elections.
The permanent residence requirement would be increased from 3 to 10 years. Given that permanent residence already takes a minimum of 5 years to obtain, this would mean that the total residency requirement for Polish citizenship becomes at least 15 years (more realistically 17–18 years, given administrative delays in processing residence and citizenship applications).
The language requirement would also be increased from B1 to C1 level. C1 is an academic level of Polish—the same level required by universities in Poland for students who want to study courses conducted in the Polish language.
Other requirements would include a mandatory state exam on Polish history and culture, proof of a clean criminal record from the applicant’s country of origin, and proof of paying taxes in Poland for an extended period of time.
These changes were announced by Przemysław Czarnek, the Law and Justice party’s candidate for Prime Minister.
In 2024, Poland granted 16,342 citizenships. More than 50% of those went to Ukrainians, many of whom became eligible due to having Polish ancestry.

🦁 Lviv — 770 Years of Resilience
These days, my hometown, Lviv, celebrates its 770th anniversary. It is often called the cultural capital and the soul of Ukraine—a city of countless churches, universities, museums, and theaters. Historically, Lviv has been the birthplace of every major Ukrainian uprising, from ancient times to the present day. This city is not just an architectural gem; it is a living witness to how Ukrainian identity survived under the pressure of the world’s most powerful empires.
👑 Founding and Roots
Lviv was founded in 1256 (though settlements existed much earlier) by Danylo Romanovych, the first King of Rus' (the historical name of Ukraine). The city was named after his son, Prince Lev. When Kyiv was destroyed by the Golden Horde—which included the lands of modern-day Russia that actively fought against Rus'—Rus' transformed into the Kingdom of Galicia-Volhynia in Western Ukraine. Lviv became the capital of this Ukrainian state after Kholm and Halych.
⚔️ Chronicles of Occupations
In those times, conflict was constant. Lviv had many rulers who even annexed parts of Hungary and modern-day Poland to Ukraine. We had friendly alliances with Lithuania, and for a time, we were united in a single state. Throughout its long history, Lviv was often targeted and occupied by enemies:
🔹 The Kingdom of Hungary and the Kingdom of Poland (from the 14th century);
🔹 The Austrian Empire (the Habsburgs);
🔹 The Russian Empire (during WWI);
🔹 Soviet and Nazi occupations.
However, Lviv never accepted occupation. We have always considered ourselves Ukrainians and fought for independence. This is proven by the massive uprisings during the Polish occupation—including the time King John II Casimir was forced to flee Lviv, losing his crown—and the struggle of the Ukrainian Cossacks who successfully liberated Lviv from the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. It is seen in the Robin Hood-style rebellions of Karmeliuk and Dovbush against Polish lords, and the Koliivshchyna uprising. It is evidenced by our autonomy within the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the creation of the Western Ukrainian People's Republic after WWI (while the rest of Ukraine was under Russian occupation), the war for independence against Poland, and the massive resistance against both Nazi and Soviet rule. To this day, Russia fears Lviv—a sentiment Putin has openly expressed in interviews.
Lviv has been part of many states, and many nations helped build it—largely because Lviv was repeatedly destroyed. Notably, the Great Fire of 1527 completely wiped out the Gothic city, leading to its reconstruction in the Renaissance style we see today. Unlike parts of Ukraine occupied by Russia, Lviv saw European-style reforms, and education and culture were not banned. This created the distinct "Western mindset" that Russia tries to exploit today to divide us.
📜 Fast Facts:
🔸 The First Printed Book: It was in Lviv that Ivan Fedorovych published the "Apostle" (1574) and the first Ukrainian textbook, the "Primer."
🔸 City of Inventions: The world's first kerosene lamp was invented here (by Ignacy Łukasiewicz and Jan Zeh), and the first electric tram in Ukraine was launched here.
🔸 Capital of ZUNR: In 1918, following the collapse of empires, Lviv again became the capital of an independent Ukrainian state—the Western Ukrainian People's Republic.
Today, Russian bots often use talking points like "Lviv is Poland" or "Ukrainian is a Polish dialect" to stir conflict. You will undoubtedly see them here too. Unfortunately, there are people who believe that a period of past occupation grants a right to occupy these lands again, including the use of genocide to exterminate the local population—as Russia has always done and continues to do. I believe such people are the mentally ill of our century, and it is because of these degenerates that wars still plague our world. Adequate people have long lived in peace and love for one another.

Elon Musk is the planet’s richest person by far, worth $839 billion as of Forbes’ annual World’s Billionaires list. He also ranks among the least philanthropic billionaires.
Sure, Musk has transferred $8.5 billion of Tesla stock to his charitable foundations (1% of his net worth)—but nearly all of it is still sitting there idle. Only an estimated $500 million, or 0.06% of Musk’s vast fortune, has ever been disbursed to those in need.
His lack of giving raises a question: What would our billionaires ranking look like if the world’s most generous people had never donated a dollar to charity? forbes.com/sites/mattduro…

@Forbes These people earned their money through invention & hard work.
If you want billions, then go invent something.
Nothing is free in life. Enough with the demonization of successful people that create jobs.
