I was in Beirut when Israel carpet-bombed it a few hours before the ceasefire here came into effect.
I have also seen them break the ceasefire every day since in Lebanon.
Expect both in Gaza.
The Israelis kill and the Israelis lie, permanently.

Just seen the absolutely gripping PRESSURE at @ParkTheatre. Who knew a play about weather forecasting could provide such stimulating drama? But playwright David Haig (who is also his own star actor in it) masterfully pulls it off -- a fine play & a brilliant performance too!

On 25th July 1943, Gunner Robert Patrick Doyle Royal Artillery🇬🇧 form Collooney Co Sligo🇮🇪, died aged 27 during the push to Catania in Sicily🇮🇹 & was buried in the Syracuse War Cemetery🇮🇹.

NO! This Englishman betrayed the Irish on whose back he rode to power by helping to appropriate the history of Irish nursing in N. London and handed it to another community who were not on that site in any numbers until the 1980s - Irish there from 1948.

The tragic story of Pte Ralph Tupper Ferns Royal Canadian Inf🇨🇦 from Cahir Co Tipperary🇮🇪 who was killed accidentally on 18th June 1944 aged 25 by Allied aircraft in the Falaise Pocket Normandy🇫🇷. His body was discovered in March 2005 & buried in Bretteville-Sur-Laize🇨🇦 Cemetery.

In 1922, indigenous Palestinians made up 89% of the population of Palestine. Just 11% were Jews.
Now Palestinians are living in reservations in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem.

Br. media persist in excluding the huge contribution of the Irish 2 WW2 victory. More VCs more gallantry medals than other feted grps. Only neutral as no military after draconian Br. rule. Without Irish given weather forecast D-Day wouldnt have happened.
