@SandyResolver @brandilwells I have never planted a roundup ready crop and will never agree to the terms required to do so. They are creepy. I have planted GMO tomatoes but that was just for personal use and they didn't hit me with such requirements. They would not allow me to sell them though.

@buperac TBF a flooded combine is worth more than a burned out combine. I once backed a round baler that was on fire right down to a stock tank and put it out with a quart mason jar that I had drinking water in.

@brandilwells However when you plant "heirloom" varieties, typically they will come back true when you replant those seeds and that is why they are so popular.

@brandilwells Most of the time the seed that is harvested from the crop a farmer grows will be worthless as a seed for next year's crop because they will not exhibit the same traits as the seed that was originally planted.
