If he’s worth 700 billion and paid 10 billion, that’s only 1.43%. This is the fucking problem with bloodsucking billionaire vampires. They think because the tax they pay is a big number, that they don’t have to pay 15%-40% like the majority of the world. The rich can avoid tax legally. Billionaires shouldn’t have to pay more tax than we do, they should pay the same percentage…… they should pay what’s fair.

If you're building in crypto, trying to market to everyone is a mistake. Your message gets watered down and ends up resonating with no one. Mass marketing is what you do when you're Google or Coca-Cola sized – when you're so massive that the only move left is appealing to the LGBTQs and everything in-betweens of the world. But crypto's way too early for that approach. That's why Base's whole "Base is for everyone" thing doesn't land. It feels like they're just trying to be the anti-Solana. Like if Solana's for Gen-Z, then Base is for... everyone else? As a builder, that messaging doesn't stick to me. They should instead double down on a powerful brand association that Solana hasn't laid claim to yet like innovation (though that is slowly changing). The reality is the most groundbreaking protocols still come out of the Eth ecosystem and it's also where you'll still find a high concentration of gigabrained builders, but nobody talks about that enough.
