There was a barbecue at the AXA Training Centre on Friday.
Trent put it on to thank teammates and staff. Similar to what Roberto Firmino did before he left in 2023.
Standard stuff for a departing senior player.

if Van Dijk said he'd rather win a ballon d'or than the club win a trophy again, refused to do post match interviews for 2 years, gestured at his own fans multiple times, and agreed to leave for free to help real madrid with their transfer budget. I reckon he'd have been booed.
