@Beardaknowledge Unfortunately a large amount of these “Eagles fans” on X, especially ones that believe what WIP says, are bandwagon fans from the last two seasons and forget that Darius Slay saved the Eagles from the depths of CB hell that they were in before he got there.

@BillColarulo That tells me that either the market was not there for him or he really loves Philly and doesn’t want to leave at this point in his career. I wouldn’t be surprised if this time next year we are reading a retirement statement from Goedert.

I’m shocked Dallas Goedert is coming back with only a 1 yr, $7M deal. He made $10M last season & had a career yr. He was also in a better bargaining position since the Eagles had to get a deal done or eat $20M in dead cap. $7M? Happy he’s back, but very surprised by the amount

@975TheFanatic @asalciunas975 @JohnKincade He’s a top 10 “great player but always injured” guy. I love Goedert and everything he has done for Philly and his upside is through the roof but I think his value is right where it should be at this point in his career.

@tomstakes I thought it was an outrageous statement. Woolen has a much higher floor imo. Jackson fared well on deep coverage but he got cooked all year in in routes, crossing routes and shallow posts. It really affected blitz packages.
