most ETH bulls are factoring in future 'tokenization' highly as part of their ETH investment thesis without realizing most 'tokenization' does not use Ethereum (or any chain) as a settlement layer or even an asset management layer but rather as a really inefficient solutionist messaging bus I truly don't think all ways of using/touching Ethereum are equally bullish for ETH the asset, or even for Ethereum as an ecosystem (the more 'incidental' the usage of Ethereum is the less likely it is to be 'sticky') right now this is an abstruse point only visible to a small contingent of people like me with the right mix of legal and technical abilities (outside the normal cryptolaw sphere, @swenwer is another one) if we don't "tokenize" or "chainize" securities correctly there will eventually be an 'emperor wears no clothes' moment on this stuff and I fear how it will affect everyone's ETH bull case, people ignoring this now is similar to people ignoring the 'right click save' issue in NFTs during the NFT bull see: x.com/lex_node/statu… x.com/lex_node/statu… x.com/MetaLeX_Labs/s… swenldn.substack.com/p/damls-canton… (read all his stuff on tokenization) P.S. this is not to suggest this is the only possible flaw with this aspect of ETH bull thesis, but it is one issue people should care about more
