From £60 a month to £170 for a recently widowed 64 year old woman with no pension or anything to live off??? If she didn’t have her family to help her out she would need to start using foodbanks to actually survive the month it’s sickening

Been arguing with British Gas for an hour about how they can justify charging ma gran £170 a month on her gas alone n they absolutely did not care that if she pays that it will leave her way next to nothing, the rise in the cost of living and energy bills is terrifying!!!

Not to sound like a crabbit old woman but the amount of ‘anti social behaviour’ I’ve seen about NA recently particularly wee boys about 12/13 is so uncomfortable n disappointing n it’s not like it’s harmless n them just being wains it’s genuine disturbing n concerning behaviour🙁

@YoungPersonSupp I was wondering where/how to go about reporting these kinds of incidents but im not aware of anywhere to bring up the concerns that would approach it in a helpful manner rather than getting them into bother if that makes sense? Would be good to have that info if possible

@YoungPersonSupp I was thinking that myself as it can only really be tackled in schools/community groups etc think it’s mainly relevant to the busses/bus stops I don’t really notice it anywhere else, i probably notice it more because I use public transport multiple times a day 🤣

Little Black Dress exhibition on at The Heritage Centre in Saltcoats. Ft a beautiful painting of Eglinton Castle and a wee poem about bottom enders🤣 went with one of the people I support and they really enjoyed it 😌

just tried to talk some sense into a group of boys no older than 12 cause they were harassing old people n flinging cans n rocks off a bus n they listened to me for about 3 seconds before they started up again wiiiiit is going on with wains about here the now it’s bizarre 🥴

@cfergusonNA I couldn’t agree more Charleigh!! We put so much focus on academic performance and achievement, why don’t we put the same energy and enthusiasm into teaching CYP to love themselves, the importance of rest, their voice, their body etc. It should be the other way around!

Its important that children are taught how to take care of their own minds from as young as they can understand and make sense of it in their own way, growing up with the skills on how to nurture themselves (and others) and cope with life would make a monumental difference!!

I’m just glad now a days we are more aware of the signs of bad mental health and it is getting talked about in most schools and people are trying to understand it etc, if implemented into young people now it could reduce so much generational and cultural trauma

I’ve never understood parents/schools that won’t broach the subject of mental health/mental illness, it could save so many peoples lives and change the entire path they follow in the future if they learn how to make sense of their emotions and feel comfortable opening up
