This is the world's shortest paper so consider this an academic hot take. Essentially, meta-science should start approaching problems (peer review, publishing, uptake of open science tools) as *pedagogical* problems and learn from the educational literature that already exists

Peer review is broken. Reviewer feedback can be vague, non-constructive, and inconsistent. I argue that efforts to improve peer review should turn to the (already well-evidenced, well-theorised) educational literature osf.io/preprints/psya…

Unbelievably thrilled to announce I have submitted my PhD Thesis. It has been a long and non-conventional journey but I couldn't be prouder of myself and the co-researchers. I look forward to sharing this work with you as myself and the co-researchers work on publishing!

Officially drafted all 8 chapters of my PhD thesis in full. There's still a whole round of editing and a final conclusions chapter on the horizon, but that full draft deadline in August is looking less daunting by the day. Feeling proud!

Being back in my gown to celebrate our @GcuPsychology graduates this week has been such a delight! Every single student graduation is a unique inspirational journey and a demonstration of resilience. Don’t forget your individual achievement amongst the crowds!

Can't quite believe next week might be my last time mentoring my young person through @mcrpathways in Glasgow due to funding. Keeping all my fingers crossed for an outcome that keeps the coordinators in Glasgow schools and allows mentoring to continue across the local authority!
