@dhh That's almost as bad as making non Apple App Stores pay whatever % it is to Apple for downloads even if the person never uses the app! I know the behind web window and PWA annoyed Apple for years but wow... As bad as MS in the 90's (and we all know how that went)

Can’t make this up… Client hired a new CMO — who fires off 3 different emails on Christmas Day asking me for urgent status updates. The following day (today) puts a meeting on my calendar for 12:30 without warning. I remind the CMO that I’m a contractor and am under no such obligations to take on-demand calls. A few hours later, I receive a termination notice from the client. Literally do not care as I’m laughing my ass off from the Dominican Republic. These people can kick rocks! This is exactly why I became an independent operator so that no one can ever control me!!!!!🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴
