Ahead of an OSAP rally, the Ford government is taking unprecedented measures to protect the statues at Queen’s Park, wrapping them to prevent graffiti. Organizers tell us they’re “undermining” & “repressing” students. The premier says protest is welcome - vandalism is not.

Many young people have asked me what can we do to reverse the OSAP changes. This is where OUSA and CFS need to step up. If this was happening in Québec, there would already be tens of thousands of students on the streets protesting. Make your voices heard. #ontario #onpoli

Changes to the OSAP funding model now swap grants and loans. Students used to be eligible for up to 85% of money borrowed to be loans that did not have to be paid back. Now that max is 25% #ontario #onpoli #dougford #frankdomenic🍁

The government should help students get ahead, not hold them back. The Ford government’s plan saddles young people with more debt, making it harder to buy a home, start a family, and build their future. If we are serious about growing our economy and investing in our future, we need to lift young people up, not hold them back. The Liberal approach works. We give students grants, not debt.
