Some of you have never worked the Spanish line of an abortion fund and it shows. There need to be more resources for Spanish speakers to access abortion in this country, which is why I made this site: abortoeneeuu.com Please share!

BREAKING: The Kentucky Supreme Court has just DENIED Daniel Cameron's latest attempt to undo our victory and enforce a complete abortion ban. Abortion remains legal in Kentucky and you can still get an abortion in Kentucky.

VICTORY: A Kentucky Circuit Court has blocked the state's total abortion ban and six-week ban, granting our request for a restraining order. Abortion is once again legal in the commonwealth. Our legal team is reviewing the order to determine when our client may resume care.

BREAKING: We’re suing Kentucky in state court to stop two extreme abortion bans. Since the Supreme Court’s decision, abortion has been effectively banned in Kentucky, and people have been forced to remain pregnant against their will or flee the state.

I met an unhoused woman who has two years of disability payments sitting in a bank account she cannot access because she does not have an ID. After months we finally got her birth certificate and then she woke up to a sweep where all of her paperwork was thrown away.

In May, Lynda Espinoza's 16-year-old daughter was murdered, then two weeks later police shot & killed her 13-year-old son. Now Texas officials have removed her other children claiming the deaths "while in the mother’s custody demonstrated negligence & possible danger to others."

At the @ACLU, @UTexasLaw grad @PelaezZoraima will work to protect the right to abortion and ensure meaningful access, particularly for poor people, people of color, and those living in rural areas. Zoraima’s work is generously supported by Bruce Kuhlick & Robyn Lipton. Congrats!

Extreme abortion bans are a harbinger of what may come when SCOTUS decides on abortion rights later this year. A patchwork approach to abortion rights will be disastrous, forcing people across the country to carry pregnancies against their will. aclu.org/news/reproduct…

It is outrageous that we can't pursue *even* the narrow path in the district court that the Court gave us in the #SB8 challenge. Procedure = substance. Every day #SB8 is in effect people are forced to carry their pregnancies against their will.
Steve Vladeck@steve_vladeck

When the Fifth Circuit sits on this and/or certifies a question to the Texas Supreme Court, we’ll see further proof of just how hollow the providers’ “victory” at #SCOTUS was.
