7/ Which artists within your collection do you think deserve more attention? Basileus: Focusing mainly on Tezos for this question, I deeply admire the thoughtful, boundary-pushing works of Empress Trash (@EmpressTrash), poetic explorations by Laurence Fuller (@LaurenceFuller), the emotionally charged surrealism of Chacalall (@chacalall), and more established artists like @neurocolor, who has created beautiful work on Tezos. Each artist produces work full of originality and cultural depth, deserving wider recognition. For a more focused look at specific artists, consider exploring some of the artists I follow, as showcased in my Objkt curation: objkt.com/curations/objk… And also the curation by Cult of Crypto Art (@Cultishnya): objkt.com/curations/objk…

M: What sets Tezos apart in your eyes compared to other NFT ecosystems? B: Many of my favorite artists were experimenting on Hic Et Nunc, and I was drawn to the incredible work being created there. Curious to explore further, I reached out to Matt Kane and @luluixixix , who guided me through getting started on objkt. Right away, it reminded me of the early days of cryptoart collecting—a vibrant, welcoming community. I even received generous gifts from about a dozen artists to kick off my collection. What I truly love about collecting on Tezos is the spirit of experimentation it fosters. It’s a space where artists can push boundaries and take risks, yet we’re also seeing the emergence of refined, mature collections. For me, the joy of collecting comes alive on objkt—it’s where I have the most fun and feel most connected as a collector.
