Trustless quantum compute has a verification problem.
Most people asking "what does @quipnetwork actually do?" are looking at the wrong layer.
The harder question is this:
If a quantum computer solves a problem that a classical computer cannot, how does a classical node on the same network verify that the answer is correct, without being able to reproduce the work itself?
This is the verification problem every quantum blockchain has to solve before trustless compute becomes real.
Here is how @quipnetwork approaches it.
Quantum processors handle the core optimization workloads. Classical CPUs and GPUs do not try to reproduce the quantum computation. They prep data for quantum machines and independently verify the correctness of the output.
Classical nodes check that the result is valid, not that they could have produced it themselves.
Every result the network pays out has been independently verified this way. No unverified quantum output gets rewarded.
You do not need quantum hardware to participate in @quipnetwork. Classical nodes have a defined role and are a necessary part of how the network functions.
Quantum processors solve. Classical nodes verify. The network pays only what has been checked.
That is what trustless quantum compute actually looks like in practice.

The hardware requirements alone price most people out. GPU configuration with per-device enable and disable controls, a utilization slider, and yielding mode for machines doing other work simultaneously. D-Wave QPU support with daily budget controls for operators running quantum hardware. Two different barriers. Two different solutions. One network that needs both solved before participation becomes real. @quipnetwork is that network.

Back in 2021, @injective introduced something most chains hadn't tried yet: a weekly "buyback-and-burn" auction, funded by a share of protocol revenue across the entire ecosystem, not just one app, but every dApp built on injective-protocol:native contributing to the pool.

This Wednesday's buyback is set to be the largest one yet: $162,000+ funnelled into the auction, the highest total to date.
You'd ask, 'Why does this matter for the community?'
Well, here's why:
1) It's a direct feedback loop. More usage across Injective's ecosystem (trading, RWAs, apps building on the chain) means more revenue, which means bigger buybacks, which means more injective-protocol:native burnt.
2) It's participatory. Community members can bid in the weekly auction using their own tokens, competing for the basket of assets being bought back, meaning holders aren't just spectators; they're active participants in the mechanism.
3) It's compounding. As more builders ship on Injective, the buyback size isn't static, it scales with ecosystem growth, not marketing spend.
This isn't a one-off incentive; it's the tokenomics doing what they were designed to do:
"Turn real usage into real rarity."
