I do not know what is it with you people. What caused the building to collapse was a structural failure at one or 2 levels of the building where the place hit. All it needed was the center metal beams to heat up enough to bend just slightly since it had more floors above it and tons of weight already on it. I do not understand how you all have such strong imaginations but never use them on where it counts.

You just countered your own argument. Mass with high speed will do more damage to mass with no speed. You inverted the objects, but the outcome was the same. Now switch the buildings and planes again, and just like magic, you are at the correct conclusion. The planes would stay intact while the building would fail.
