Back from @SolanaConf Breakpoint 2026 still processing how much happened in 3 days.
First: Abu Dhabi surprised me.
I have to come back and actually enjoy it (especially the desert). This trip was kind of a sprint.
On the community side, @MonkeDAO events were easily top tier.
The merch bag alone..customization and attention to detail was unreal. It didn't feel sponsored, it felt crafted. Love you @bibseebliss
Also, I found my inner monke. I didn't adopt 1 but 2 (Gen2) Monkes so I can participate in governance.
Side events: fewer than I expected but the tradeoff was quality. Had to choose between really good options.
The meta shift is getting hard to ignore.
Institutions are clearly owning more of the space now and it feels like we're shifting toward a more builder-oriented cycle.
memecoins meta dead?! Prediction market IS the new king in town.
Venue-wise: Ethiad Arena setup was the best yet.
Inside, outside, on several levels: people were natturally drawn to dedicated area. Dev cave lured in top devs yet some missed it.
I did feel like there were fewer booths overall, and many were small. Even the big players didn't feel that big.
Huge shoutout to Bonk, Aurory and Sanctum for owning the space. And the @solflare team absolutely killed it all day, all night (closing party included).
The stage..quite literally an Absolute Cinema.
The rapid-fire cadence left me hungry. A lot of talks stayed surface-level, yet there were so many announcements I could barely keep up.
Honestly the 3-day conference felt too short.
Grateful.
For the builders, the teams, the organizers, the communities that keep this ecosystem alive and for every quick conversation that turns into a new idea.
I'm leaving Breakpoint pumped with more conviction, more questions and a deeper appreciation for how fast Solana is evolving.
See you in the dms!
