@TheRyanFeldman @Garrrry23 Tournament poker isn’t brain surgery. Bike ran a 1 day $400 $200k guarantee yesterday & got 850 entries. Put on a good tournament, people will show up.

@Garrrry23 LAPC did that and got 50 people in a tournament that used to get 500+. Triton VIP tourneys are the most electric events of the year arguably.

I see a lot of talk about tournaments being dead in LA these days I want to run an invite only high roller tournament with a turbo structure where the FT would be streamed Buyin somewhere between 10k-25k with re-entries Ends same day as it starts ideally (worst case FT the next day) Would be either a Friday or Saturday tourney Invite only doesn’t mean only recreationals. Pros who are fun to play with or marketable or bring something fun to the table could be included too but it would be mostly for non-pros. If it goes well we could do it a few times a year Thoughts? Would this work? Let me know if you’d be interested, what the ideal buyin would be, should it be 15/20/30 min levels? All one day? Etc

I did the same and I agree, I miss it and weirdly enough I miss the LA players too, what a collection of personalities!

Thoughts on this, because I’ve always been a no dinner break guy. Ran the entire LAPC in the past without a single dinner break in 68 events and the food options are FAR superior @VenetianPoker Room.

More people need to call out the lack of consistency!

@JoshuaArieh @DoorDash I complained to Door Dash about this specific thing…they give you a time window & almost always push it back…and then blame a lack of drivers for the delay.

I rarely use @DoorDash . Feeling lazy and ordered today. Paid extra for ‘first order’. Time says 16-31 minutes, so I hit confirm. After I’m charged, time instantly changes to 44 minutes. Is this normal? Feels kinda shady to me.

@Cincylitigator @WSOP And a whole bunch of ways, I think the game is going to grow exponentially. The tournaments are going to be larger, and the notoriety of players is going to grow.

As a businessman and a recreational poker player, I love both sides of this game. It’s easy to complain about structures or schedules or stuff, but step back and look at the big picture. The @WSOP is clearly focused on one thing: growing poker itself. Think about it, they want to grow the game of poker for themselves and everyone.. crazy When a company with 80%+ of a market chooses to lift the whole game instead of taking shots at competitors, that’s rare. Adding professionals like I @jeffplatt is just a start. hold on.. what's coming next means poker fans and players are in for a great couple of years. Go ahead.. roast me now but I believe this..
