If you are the kind of patient who asks a doctor for his/her personal phone number remember these things 1. You are not entitled to your doctor’s personal number. Be prepared to take no for an answer 2. In case the doctor gives you their number, it implies a gentleman’s agreement - that you don’t share it with someone else without their express permission 3. Adding a doctor your family/friends WhatsApp group is utterly unacceptable. Your doctor is not your family 4. Sending silly Goodmorning messages is counterproductive 5. Do not, under any circumstance, call at odd hours. “I thought it is an emergency” is a poor excuse - no emergency can be handled on phone. Go to the nearest hospital.

@karthik2k2 I split Williams into 13 parts by myself...it helped a lot.

One thing I can never do is split big books into 2 or 3 for easy portability. Many friends used to do that with books like Robbins. Somehow it feels painful to see a book cut and bound into parts ...

@karthik2k2 Relatable....I found a scorpion in my shoes when I was around 5 years old...my mom was so glad that I heed to her advice!

As a child, I was warned to always shake and tap the shoes vigorously, lest there be a snake or scorpion in it. To do this day, that habit and imagery has stuck with me. 😅 Do you have any such childhood warning that still influences your behaviour ?

Heard from a doctor yesterday that he drove from Mysore to Bengaluru in just 1 hour ( distance of 110 Km) .. how cool is that ! Reminds me of a cardiology talk we had during residency - the main predictor of success in heart attack outcomes was not Door to needle time ...
