I went to the women section at the waterpark to change my clothing and a women wanted to see my ID while looking in a disgusted way towards me. My ID said female and she said "you’re not one of us." and left. All I wanted was to change my clothes in peace to go swimming as trans person 😞 is this okay to treat me that way ? I didn’t mean any harm 💔

She was on the today show this week as they're in Jamaica, jumping around talking about she's Jamaican. She's Jamaican while her whole career was her playing Black American characters but now that she got her Emmy she's a Jamaican. She's half Jamaican which she kept quiet until now.

When my daughter was a toddler, she started peeing through her diapers, excessive amounts of urine. After a couple of days I called her pediatrician, who said she just had healthy kidneys. I couldn’t let it go. I googled. I thought about it constantly: what if it’s diabetes? One day I was driving home and thought, “Maybe I have munchhausen by proxy. Maybe I’m just bored and imagining that this is a problem.” The next day after a series of events (including me taking her to urgent care to bypass her ped), my toddler was in the PICU in DKA (a very serious complication of diabetes). I struggle with gaslighting myself around medical issues. Now the same kid (10) has something else going on. I’m having to ask for tests and appointments and for specialists to talk to each other. I am smart. I am rational. I am medically literate. And still I feel like I’m a bad person for pushing for my daughter to get the care she needs. By uteriuterme

@Moonlight_myths I see you dearly want to protect your child. And I ask myself if giving it a try and see if she would not continue her behavior might have allowed your son to go on with the beautiful relationship with his brother in a less complicated way.

My ex husband and I divorced 6 years ago when our son had just turned 1. He ended up marrying the woman he cheated on me with and now, they have a 5 year old boy. l've never had an issue with my son spending time with his half brother, they have a strong bond and genuinely care for each other. My boy looks out for his brother and loves him very much. I make sure to treat his brother the same as if he was my own, giving gifts and including him in our family parties. Most weekends, my son stays over at his dad's house. They have a close relationship that makes me happy. But recently, my son called me in tears, asking if I could pick him up because he didn't want to stay there anymore. He told me his step mum hit him.
