@TimMcbride12727 @katea76 Inflation at 3.2%, was 6% when LNP left office...

@katea76 Inflation high, interest rates high, excise raised again... but just as long as you got your payrise, it doesn't matter about the rest of society, and as for 'tax cuts', not sure if that's correct

Each year, on New Year's Day, the Australian Cabinet papers released from the Howard era reveal more shameful, devious and deceitful actions by our worst AUS PM. And each year he dismisses the criticism. What an odious, vile man. 😠 #auspol

In the years I’ve been making Stuff The British Stole, the biggest lesson for me has been how much history hides behind politeness—polite plaques, polite speeches, polite monarchs.
I don’t have Lidia Thorpe's life experience, and it’s not appropriate for me to offer commentary on her actions.
But let’s be clear on one thing: the British Empire was not a polite enterprise. Like most, it was built on conquest, power, and, yes, things were truly stolen. Many things that have not been returned or in some cases even acknowledged.
It was not a polite empire.

@SpillaneMj @mefergus @Anncaro11 And payroll tax! Government schools pay it, privates don’t. Make it make sense.

Schools that practise discrimination should not receive any taxpayer funds and should pay council rates.
