After reading both the private and public apologies, I do not feel reassured. That is part of why I am choosing to share my experience now. I also believe people can make more informed decisions when they have more context, not less.
Sykkuno became my friend when I was 17 and he was 28. Nothing inappropriate happened at that time, but that history shaped the trust I had in him later.

Last I’ll say on Sykkuno for now:
He cheated, his gf is the victim.
Mal pushed flirty interactions which seemed very 1 sided.
In the end she still wanted to keep him around so he could “make it up to her.”
