Notion is a beautiful trap. And thousands of agency owners are stuck in it right now. It looks incredible in screenshots. It's infinitely flexible. Everyone on 𝕏 seems to be building their "second brain" in it. But c'mon, Notion is a tool for thinking, not for running a business. I know I'm gonna get hate for that but I don't care. The moment you need to assign tasks, track deadlines, automate handoffs, manage client work across a team, and actually hold people accountable, Notion falls apart. You end up with a gorgeous workspace that nobody uses. Meanwhile your team is still running projects out of a WhatsApp group. Also, it's waaay to easy to break. I've cleaned up the aftermath of bad Notion implementations more times than I can count. The clients who come to me from Notion aren't beginners. They're smart people who got sold a dream and spent six months building something that looked great and worked terribly. I'll admit that ClickUp isn't as pretty as Notion. But it doesn't need to be. It's built to run a business, not to impress people in a coffee shop. Tools aren't as neutral as the internet makes out. Choose the right one for the job.

@productive_will Thank you. This is a nicer way to say it 😊 There is nothing wrong with having a favorite. And definitely, what works for some people, doesn't work for others.

@chape__ Works for some people, definitely doesn't work for how my brain works. I don't like the sandbox feeling of it; I like the structure inside ClickUp.
