To encourage healthy eating in younger children we need to ensure we are educating them on portion sizes, types of foods, health vs unhealthy, etc. By doing this it may create a better future for children and the unfortunate obesity rates.
Interoperability and greater amount of hospitals/ clinics can be solutions to our public health problems. Increasing communication amongst all health care professionals for a patient and more access to health care providers in smaller towns.
@navjeeven based on your concept map I think you could look at the issue of baby boomers and the need of labours we need now to take their spots. Do you increase wage? Increase taxes? #EM203problems
@EM203Sarthak based on your concept map about health, you could also look at nutrition. They always say "you are what you eat" a big portion of health has to due with your nutrient intake and malnourishment. #EM203problems
@Setarehkhaniza1 based on your concept map that was very well done. Maybe you could also look at the students, how well do they learn in class room, out of class room, at home (environment).
@char567010 Based on your concept map of health, one of the problems could be the cost of being health. Thankfully Canada has healthcare, in places like the USA where people call Uber's to go to the hospital instead of an ambulance, cost is a big factor in health.

@EM203DevonWeese when looking at health exercise and promoting healthy living, maybe looking at specific unhealthy factors and eliminating those factors as best as possible (alcohol consumption, smoking, bad nutrition).
@EM203Sanna Great post Sanna! I also think it is super interesting that we all have a different way of learning but still learn the same content but have different interests. I cannot imagine learning without the technology we have today, it makes learning that much easier.
Thus far EM203 has taught me there are many different styles/ways individuals can learn. Whether you learn best by doing, through straight facts or group discussions. I'm excited to see how technology & the effects of the 21st century’s digital learning has influenced us today.
@EM203OliviaM Hi Olivia! Interesting post! I think it is super interesting that we have all of these approaches and we are all different in a sense of learning and creating. Thankfully, we have EM203 to help us and encourage us to always learn more and come out of your comfort zone.
So far I have enjoyed learning about how learners have adapted to the digital age, the different approaches to teaching/learning in such an age and the multi-media, multi-modal and multi-tasking methods that we now use to navigate this surplus of digital resources #EM203Robin
@em203ashley I have enjoyed learning about how to take on a new task because we go through these actions every day. Whether that me a new assignment, talking to a new person, learning a new fact, etc. It all changes the way we react to learning!
@EM203SBoutzis I agree! I think everyone should know their learning style so they can learn to their best ability, as I also said to Anastasia. I have learned many learning styles in this course that I would like to try this year.
In this course, I have learned about various learning theories. It's important to discover what your dominant learning theory is and adapt your studying accordingly. I discovered I am a connectivism learner. #EM203Robin
@AnastasiaEm203 I agree!! I think it is super important for students to find their best learning style so they can learn to their best ability. However, sometimes that can be hard when you are surrounded by so many different styles. This course has introduced me to many learning styles!
What I have learned so far in EM203 is that there are multiple styles of learning. This can include behaviourism, cognitivism, connectives etc. I believe it is important to understand what type of learner you in order to find strategies that can help you succeed.#EM203Robin
