@charingkam My partner is just incredibly social in ways that are alien to me even though I find him very sweet. His enjoyment of every activity is heightened by my participation 😭

Omg my absolute favourite thing to do. Literally got my husband back into playing computer games so he could be in the room while I watch TV 🤣

@moniza_hossain It got easier when he tried it once and saw how happy it made me. But tbh this kinda backfired because it's now much harder to convince him to do the same stuff together 😂

@moniza_hossain Aww man I hope you manage to convince him of its benefits!! It took a while to get my partner into it too, because he gets so distracted by the sound of the TV. I told him to wear headphones 😂

I keep coming back to this memory years ago of this elderly couple I saw at McDonald's at 6am eating breakfast, and my friend saying "wow, I wish I could do this at their age" And me just going "at that age, you sleep so little, might as well go McDonald's for breakfast right?"

And it feels kinda ageist as well? Like all your activities are supposed to stop at some age when you decide to lie down and sleep in instead. You won't be able to!! So just sleep when you can!!
