Over 15 years after retiring from the concert stage, legendary pianist Glenn Gould, long known as a Bach expert, returned to the formidable Goldberg Variations. Bruno Monsaingeon's documentary captured precious footage of Gould's final recording of the Goldbergs, a work with which Gould may be more associated than any other pianist of the twentieth century.
