I just finished geats! Although I had gripes over the course of the show and criticisms about the final arc, I think it ended quite nicely. For me it was an enjoyable show through and through, and I feel like the ending did a nice job wrapping things up and leaving me satisfied.

@RinaLucsper They have a few original merchandise; it's just most were imported from HK (hence the bootleg or licensed in HK products) but the ones imported from Japan were original; they also used to carry HK-licensed manga (in Chinese) and the occasional Japanese manga

I think sometimes people really don’t understand what it takes to be at world class level in things and will readily assume that nobody ever thinks hard or works hard to get there. It’s a very strange phenomenon to me.

Just played Root with my game design class. It's the best way to teach them about asymmetry. You have 4 factions who are basically all playing a different game on the same board. The Vagabond is playing an RPG. The cats are playing an engine building euro. The birds are playing a wargame where you have to pre-program your turns. The Woodland Alliance are playing like the insurgents in a COIN game and spreading sympathy gradually before sparking revolts. Every time I play this with a group of students they love it. Really shows them what's possible with asymmetric wargame design.
