I want to thank everybody who supported in whichever way to the success of today's run for charity and hope. You are all the best Ugandans we have. Thank you so much for contributing to the betterment of less fortunate citizens. I will announce how much we raised and what charity we shall support. God bless you all. Muraregye.

@mildredtuhaise Honestly you're that one person who makes me wake up at exactly 5:45 am since you started echoing the sunrise. Honestly you made me fall in love with @nbstv

@mildredtuhaise @nbstv @mildredtuhaise I almost shed a tear while reading the long message, it look like a farewell one 🤣 mukama akugangire Amooti

Today I pause to ponder upon my 11 year journey @nbstv. I can only say EBENEZER thus far the Lord has brought me. Through breaking news, hard truths, national triumphs, and difficult conversations with grace and with courage, others requiring lengthy hours of non stop talking. I never know how the day ends personally, only to realise I was speaking that long.
Eleven years ago, I walked into @nbstv from then WBS Television with one Vision. To contribute to the noble profession JOURNALISM and probably INSPIRE the next female journalists, and since then, I can only say better days are ahead but the journey so far has been worthwhile
11 years means 4AM alarms for #MorningBreeze, setting the tone for the nation before most of us have had our first cup of tea. It means 11 years of news where I have held leaders to account, given a platform to the voiceless, and reminded that journalism is public service.
It means 11 years of elections, budgets, pandemics, and protests, moments when the country turns to media not just for information, but for calm, for clarity, for context.
I have interviewed presidents and market vendors with the same respect. I have moderated debates that shaped public opinion and broken stories that mattered.
To the young journalists, it takes preparation, listening before speaking, balancing firmness with fairness, carrying the weight of the news without letting it crush your humanity. That is the standard.
To NBS, to Mr. @KKariisa I am better because you and the team believed in me and gave me a platform to grow, In an industry where talent is poached and loyalty is tested. Yes to the late shifts, Yes to the hard interviews,Yes to mentoring the next generation, Yes to Uganda my home.
I always say “Journalism is not a job, it’s a responsibility.” For 11 years, I have lived that responsibility in full public view showing that a woman can be authoritative without being abrasive, compassionate without being compromised, and principled without being performative.
On behalf of the @nextmediaug family, our viewers, and a grateful nation THANK YOU. Thank you for the nights you didn’t sleep because you waited for that story, thank you for the questions you dared to ask to get answered through us, thank you for proving that credibility is still the currency that matters.
Eleven years is not the finish line. It’s the foundation and if the last decade is anything to go by, Greater things lie ahead.
Thankyou God,
Thankyou @KKariisa,
Thankyou viewers,
Thankyou my family for the support.

You abuse people.
That's why the earth has zero sympathy for you.
Now you think publishing her photos gains you anything...

🚨UPDATE: This is Magistrate Aguma Assiimwe Damalie (cannibal) who denied NUP Deputy spokesperson Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro bail to go and look after his wife who was battling with cancer. All supporting documents from mulago cancer Institute were attached but this heartless woman unequivocally ignored saying that she wasn't convinced that the woman was sick.

#UnpopularOpinion #697. Are Ugandan music promoters slow? Someone should organize a Kadongo Kamu music mass show featuring Dan Mugula, Lord Fred Ssebatta, Willy Mukaabya, Mathias Walukagga at Kyadondo.
