Just picked up my brand new Model Y in Quicksilver. Spent 5 minutes customizing everything, entered my home address, pressed full self driving, and then the magic happened.
My car drove off the Tesla lot and went 80 miles to my home. What an amazing experience FSD is. Awesome job @elonmusk and the @Tesla team!

Cyber insurance for MSPs is quietly turning into a discipline, not a purchase.
Underwriters are moving past “checkbox security” and toward a harder question: can this MSP demonstrate operational maturity in a way that’s consistent and defensible? Programs built specifically for MSPs are starting to reflect that shift—recognizing how managed services actually work (client dependency, third‑party access, cloud responsibility) and evaluating risk accordingly.
In my view, the MSPs that keep coverage affordable and renewable will be the ones who treat insurance readiness like they treat service delivery: repeatable, documented, and provable.
That’s where a Cyber Verify report can make the conversation a lot easier. Not as a magic badge—but as a practical way to present evidence of how your MSP manages security and risk, in a format insurers can understand.
If you’re rethinking cyber insurance strategy for your MSP practice, it’s worth looking at what “MSP‑aligned underwriting” actually means in 2026:

Thought leadership isn’t new for MSPAlliance—it’s part of our DNA.
Back in 2012, long before “managed services maturity” became a mainstream conversation, MSPAlliance was already advocating for clear, universal standards and accountability in the managed services and cloud ecosystem.
In a Wall Street Journal guest article, we called out the urgent need for globally accepted standards and a code of behavior for service providers—because customers deserve consistency, transparency, and trust, not guesswork.
More than a decade later, the industry is finally catching up. I'm proud to say MSPAlliance has been helping shape the conversation on managed services standards since day one—and we’re still pushing it forward.

MSPs are being asked to prove security maturity—not just claim it. The Cyber Verify™ SSP is an assessor‑ready System Security Plan generated directly from the Cyber Verify platform and aligned to the Unified Certification Standard (UCS). Unlike generic SSP templates, it includes control‑level implementation summaries, evidence filename traceability, and crosswalks to NIST SP 800‑171 and SOC 2 Common Criteria—so your narrative is backed by real, verifiable artifacts.
For MSPs, that means a repeatable, defensible way to demonstrate trust in third‑party assessments (Cyber Verify Level 2/3) and to support CMMC Level 2 readiness—without reinventing documentation every time a client, insurer, or auditor asks.
If you’re serious about standing out in RFPs and reducing compliance chaos, this is the kind of documentation assessors can actually use. buff.ly/6pkw1H7

Feeling like you’ve outgrown typical MSP peer groups? You’re not the only one. MSPAlliance Inspire was built for seasoned MSP leaders who want real conversations—not vendor agendas.
Monthly meetups + in‑person sessions in cities like Vegas & Miami bring candid, strategic discussions with peers who’ve been there.

Compliance Tip of the Week: Integrated Change Control
Integrated change control keeps every modification (technical, operational, or contractual) aligned with your obligations and service standards. By routing all changes through a single, documented review process that evaluates impact, risk, and required approvals, teams avoid ad hoc decisions and prevent unintended conflicts with MSAs, SOWs, or deliverables.
A disciplined, centralized approach preserves consistency, maintains compliance, and creates a clear audit trail that shows exactly how each change was assessed and authorized.

The 3 pillars of managed services excellence are best practices, contracts, and certifications. Each of these elements plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and maintaining a competitive edge in the industry.
Best practices are the foundation of managed services. They encompass proven methodologies and processes that enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and improve service delivery. By adhering to industry standards and continuously refining processes, service providers can ensure consistent and reliable outcomes for their clients.
Contracts form the backbone of the business relationship between service providers and their clients. A well-structured contract clearly outlines the scope of services, performance metrics, and responsibilities of each party. This not only helps in setting clear expectations but also protects both parties by providing a legal framework for resolving disputes and ensuring accountability.
Certifications are a testament to a provider’s expertise and commitment to quality. They demonstrate that a service provider meets specific industry standards and possesses the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional services. Certifications can enhance a provider’s reputation and credibility, instilling confidence in clients and setting them apart from competitors.
Together, these pillars support the delivery of superior managed services, fostering trust and long-term partnerships with clients.
