@SocGenealogists This is such an important lens. Family history isn’t only names and dates—it also holds patterns, silences, and context that can change how people understand a life.

Nebraskans deserve to live within a state that truly represents their interests.
Politicians do not care about the interests of true, blue-collar, God-fearing Nebraskans because we cannot pay for their TV ads.
That is why millions of dollars are funneled into this state by dark foreign elites.
And they condemn us, because we seek to represent OUR people, and those that pay them HATE our people.
Show them that you’re willing to stand up for your countrymen. Join us, and don’t look back.

Teacher Given a Suspended Sentence for Sexual Activity with Teenage Student
A 26-year-old maths teacher, Waleed Nasir, has been sentenced for engaging in sexual activity with a 16-year-old girl. Nasir, of Croydon, pleaded guilty to one count of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity while in a position of trust and three counts of sexual activity with a child while in a position of trust.
Nasir, who was working as a teacher at the time of the offences, initially singled out his victim by asking her to assist him with tasks. This escalated to him taking the victim out in his car, where he engaged in sexual activity with her.
Nasir's crimes were uncovered in April 2023 by vigilant staff at the Travelodge hotel in Whyteleafe, Surrey. Staff members, trained to recognise signs of child exploitation, became concerned when Nasir attempted to check in with the 16-year-old girl. They stalled the check-in process and called the police.
Despite initially denying any wrongdoing and asking a friend to lie on his behalf, Nasir was arrested and his crimes were proven. Evidence included numerous sexualised messages exchanged with the student.
Detective Constable Michael Barker from Surrey Police's child abuse team, who led the investigation, said:
"As a recently qualified teacher, Nasir would have had the most up-to-date safeguarding training so would undoubtedly have been aware he was committing a serious crime against a vulnerable young person who was under his care. Despite that, Nasir took advantage of his position of authority."
DC Barker also praised the actions of the Travelodge staff:
"I want to pay tribute to the fast-acting staff at Whyteleafe Travelodge. They did exactly the right thing and have helped prevent any future offending by Nasir. I would ask anyone who is suspicious that child sexual exploitation could be taking place to contact police."
Nasir was sentenced to 9 months in prison, suspended for two years, at Guildford Crown Court on 18 November. He was also ordered to complete rehabilitation activity and 200 hours of unpaid work, as well as being placed on the sex offenders register and given a sexual harm prevention order for seven years.

NEW: Authorities release footage of Illinois deputy Sean Grayson k*lling 36-year-old Sonya Massey who called the police because she thought someone tried breaking into her home.
Horrific.
Massey, who was a paranoid-schizophrenic, was told to take boiling water off the stove by officers.
When she went over, Massey asked why the officers were backing up, to which they responded: "Away from your hot steaming water."
Massey appeared to threaten to throw the water on the officers which is when they pulled out their guns.
"I’m sorry, I’m sorry," Massey said as she quickly apologized.
Grayson, who later said he thought she was going to throw the water at him, then shot her three times, one hitting her under the eye which exited out her neck.
Grayson was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree m*rder. He is being held without bond.

@Tobias_Ellwood , @bcpcouncil taking families to court because there is no tailored autism support / early help and they don't tick the right boxes, to steal the children to use in the foster care market , is that acceptable?

Calling on @Tobias_Ellwood to lobby his Govt to increase SEND funding and write off deficits. And to stop bandwagoning on issues caused by policies he personally voted for.

@tonyofsidcup @LBofBromley @PeterTFortune @LBofBexley @BromleyTories The children in care are getting a worse experience and that saying a lot.
English

@LBofBromley @PeterTFortune Children *in care*, not all children. I suspect that, like in the Tory-run @LBofBexley (which in 2021 shut down half of its children's centres), children's services in Bromley are being cut. And don't get me started on @BromleyTories neglect of air quality and pedestrian safety.
