We are sharing an image of a man who could have information after we received a report that a teenage girl was inappropriately touched in Liverpool city centre. The incident reportedly happened on Mathew Street on Friday 19 December and although the girl was unharmed, she was left distressed by what happened. An investigation into the incident has been ongoing since and as part of inquiries we have released an image of a man who we believe could have information about what happened. Detective Inspector Natalie Charlesworth said: “I am appealing to the man featured in this image, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward. We believe he could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries. “We also encourage people to come forward if you know anything about the incident which will help with our investigation. “The teenager and her family continue to be supported by Merseyside Police and we are determined to establish exactly what happened."
