@chechalkley They have got a reputation for their stubbornness but honestly Che I’ve been amazed how responsive he’s been to tons of praise. He’s such a loving, polite, funny and intelligent little lad. He has his moments but on the whole he’s been an absolute pleasure. I love him to bits 🙂

Somebody told me that Austin is back in the UK now but don't think he has resurrected the Sound System. He was my go to guy to provide the support to the live Reggae acts I put on at the Town Hall.
Always fascinating seeing them set up.

The driest and brightest week of 2026 coming up with mild temperatures and a good amount of sunshine on offer, especially early on. Tuesday and Wednesday dry and bright with temperatures as high as 15C possible in places.
Some showery rain expected Thursday night-Saturday.

Despite talk of an Atlantic onslaught in the coming weeks, I’m not seeing it. The jet stream looks set to gradually weaken, with transitional high-pressure ridges over the UK. GFS has barely 15 mm falling between now and March. Changeable, but not overly wet, in my opinion.

Valentine's Day just gone would have been my 30th wedding anniversary. I'd done a painting to mark the occasion but was side-tracked by the arrival of my new puppy. A lovely anniversary present to myself.
