I’m convinced the only reason Republicans hate illegal immigrants is that they’re jealous. Republicans think they resist government tyranny then wave thin blue line flags. Illegal immigrants actually resist government tyranny by ignoring it. Republicans would be standing on shore yelling “law and order” while the illegal immigrants throw tea in the harbor.

@checkmatestate One of the few legitimate functions of government is protecting its borders.unless you have a fully sink or swim on your own society unchecked immigration is suicide. The drain on school systems and hospitals alone renders it untenable.

Civil disobedience is a great way to undermine the power of the state. Whether someone is philosophically libertarian or not, if you are practicing civil disobedience you are practicing libertarianism. Illegal immigration is one form of civil disobedience. Libertarians who are serious about undermining the state should support illegal immigrants. Not the monsters who want to deport them.

What is this, The View? Dont be stupid. Nobody hates immigrants, they hate criminals. I hate I have to pay liability insurance, workers comp, payroll tax, state tax, fed tax, lisencing fees, classes to keep my lisence, dot fees, etc. And Juan gets to undercut me for the job wearing Jordans and pit vipers that I paid for.

@toslap I’m very well about the housing shortage. Which is a big reason we shouldn’t deport the construction workers.

@Ltbgnews Cool. I’m fine with vetting immigrants to the same extent Ellis Island did. Then let them in. No quotas. No application. Then we know everyone who is sneaking probably can’t pass a background check and we can come down hard on them.

@checkmatestate If it's that easy to sneak in, the government isn't doing it's singular job of protection of foreign invasion. Like a flowing river an enemy will rush the weak point. Ellis Island was wxtesnively vetting immigrants daily.
