Ukraine adopting AI in government is massive for Europe. A young Polish startup called 11Eleven may contribute effectively to organizayion of a major government. Hopeful news for Ukraine and a test case for everyone else.. lets not assume a scope of deployment just yet, 'voice agents' could entail significant back end indexing of data, useful for any organization

@PantheraSteven Yes that's absolutely terrible. I know a lady who is still alive. She's 90 years old and she's still quite sad over having to have her dog put down for that very reason. But she still thinks it was a good idea.

I was wrong about this. Another mistake I made on the Rogan show. Let the trolls know. It wasn't 20,000 cats killed in 1916 due to paranoia about them spreading polio. It was 72,000 cats+ around 8000 dogs.

@briansbrown My two cents: if you can take it, you should watch the dubbed version (it's more authentic and atmospheric); if watching foreign movies subtitled irritates you and distracts from the enjoyment, go for dubbed

Paiwanese slate houses, built entirely of stacked slate stone without any mortar, or sometimes vertically places giant slate becoming entire walls. The houses have terrific inside air and ventilation in these tropical to subtropical mountain climates and require very little maintenance. The Paiwanese are one of the original aboriginal tribes of Taiwan and were once headhunters.

If you thought the variegated random patterns on shows like Forged in Fire were wild, you ain't seen nothing yet. Bladesmith Lew Griffin just dropped pure genius: a custom snowflake Damascus chef's gyuto using 1095, 15N20, and nickel-powdered steel. He 3D-printed a detailed snowflake in PLA filament, strategically embedded it in the billet, then forged, twisted, and welded layers around it. The plastic burns cleanly away during the process, leaving a crisp, symmetrical void that reveals a stunning crystalline snowflake motif in the etched blade—perfect symmetry, razor precision, and artistic depth no random fold can match. An incredible amount of skill, planning, and math went into this. From billet prep and precise placement to heat treat and that gorgeous handle, it's a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Most likely there will never be another exactly like it. Modern bladesmithing at its absolute peak. ❄️

@elonmusk India put a probe into lunar orbit using their own institutions for $50 million USD in 2003 (wiki lies and says it was more like $80 million) this means that private institutions in 2026 probably already have infrastructure on the moon

@sash_mcgash @FinanceCanada thank you 🙏 so many questions.. why issue USD bonds in the first place? that just indirectly panders to US interest? also, what is motivating Alphabet to issue CAD backed bonds at the same time? NAFTA ties Canada to USA at the hip, bearish all around. financial doomer, rather.

@chedca @FinanceCanada We are not buying US bonds, we are issuing our own bonds denominated in USD. If you believe the US bond crisis is about to explode and that is bearish for the USD, that is bullish for Canada as the value of the principal debt will come down as the CAD strengthens vs the USD

@seungminkim I wish this lawsuit had any chance of getting past a motion to dismiss, but it has no chance. There is no plausible argument that they have standing to sue and their arguments to the contrary are laughable.

"Aluminum is safe to inject." This is perhaps the single most dangerous lie currently accepted as truth by medicine. Doctors like us see the proof every day in practice. Aluminum is a poison at any dose. Avoid it.

These early studies were very important. They were done before massive amounts of vaccines were done. The study couldn't be done today because nobody will withhold vitamin K or vaccines to see the real effect of the vitamin K. But there was a very significant signal that Dr. Golding reported on.

Send this to every parent you know. ⚠️ Vitamin K shots are associated with childhood cancer. Dr. Suzanne Humphries shares a study she believes everyone should print out and keep on hand. “Childhood cancers associated with the vitamin K shot are a reality.” “The intramuscular vitamin K showed an adjusted odds ratio of 1.97 for childhood cancer.” “If there was no risk, it would be 1.0.” @DrSuzanneH7 @CHDTVLive

Valve has asked the court to throw out the New York Attorney General’s lawsuit, citing Pokémon cards, Happy Meals, and Labubus, accusing the company of illegal gambling through Counter-Strike weapon skin “cases.” The lawsuit claims these mystery “cases” in Counter-Strike 2 and CS:GO let players, including kids, gamble real money by paying for a chance at rare virtual items In a 42-page filing on May 19, Valve says the “cases” do not count as gambling under New York law because players always get a random weapon skin for the money they pay, just like buying sealed packs of baseball cards, Pokémon cards, or the toy in a cereal box. The company says there is no “stake” or chance of losing money, as it is just the surprise element common in collectibles. Valve warns that the Attorney General’s idea could make normal activities illegal, such as parents buying trading cards for their kids or families playing arcade games. The filing notes that these loot boxes have been sold for over ten years without objection from any other U.S. state. Valve wants the court to dismiss the whole case “with prejudice.” If denied, the lawsuit seeks triple damages on billions of dollars Valve made, plus an order to stop sales to New York residents.

“You Ruined My Life”: Crown Refuses to Lay Charges on Cops who Brutalized Innocent 17-Year-Old Girl On November 13, 2023, 17-year-old Haylie Nahamko-White stepped off the bus after her lifeguard shift. In a terrifying instant, two men jumped from an unmarked car and violently tackled her to the ground. Convinced she was being kidnapped, Haylie never saw a badge. She had no idea the two men were Edmonton Police officers — and she fought desperately for her life. The brutal assault left her unconscious and bleeding, inflicting permanent physical and emotional injuries that still haunt her today. The common-sense-defying excuse police came up with was that the officers mistook 17-year-old Haylie for a 25-year-old Asian female suspect. “My teeth fell out, but my braces held them in. I had bolt patches — I still do. My SI joint and my hip is completely torn. I still suffer from severe pain. I’m going to be 20 here and I still deal with it… I still have nightmares.” For nearly three years, the identities of the two @edmontonpolice officers who brutalized Haylie Nahamko-White have been shielded from the public. Today, in the public interest, @MediaBezirgan is naming them for the first time following Alberta Crown prosecutors, under Justice Minister @mickeyamery, ruled that no criminal charges will be laid against the officers.

“Tradition has broken down. Taste is utterly debased. There is no enlightened guidance or correction from authority. The town, long since degraded, is now being annihilated by a flabby, shoddy, romantic nature-worship. That romantic nature-worship is destroying also the object of its adoration, the countryside. Both are being destroyed. The one agelong certainty, the antithesis of town and country, is already breaking down. Two diametrically opposed, dramatically contrasting, inevitable types of beauty are being displaced by one drab, revolting neutrality. Rural influences neutralize the town. Urban influences neutralize the country. In a few years all will be neutrality. The strong, masculine virility of the town; the softer beauty, the richness, the fruitfulness of that mother of men, the countryside, will be debased into one sterile, hermaphroditic beastliness.” — Thomas Sharp, Town and Countryside, 1932
