$PLTR + Partners: Donald Trump’s Golden Dome for America Pushes Forward 🌟🦾💥🇺🇸 Apr 25, 2026 The Golden Dome for America (GDA) project is ahead of schedule and on budget, according to officials involved in its development. “Golden Dome is the decisive response to a new era of threats,” said Gen. Mike Guetlein, the Director of Golden Dome for America. “We are moving with purpose and urgency to forge a shield that is layered, integrated, and automated. The progress on display today is tangible proof that this is not a future concept, but a reality we must build now.” The project’s initial blueprints are completed, its Command-and-Control Consortium is established, and contracts have been awarded, officials detailed. Emil Michael, the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering, described the project’s innovative technology. “It is this Department’s mandate to definitively secure our homeland,” he said. “We are embracing an open architecture that harnesses the full power of American innovation—from artificial intelligence to the commercial space industry—to build the impenetrable shield that this nation deserves.” Deputy Director of Operations at North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), Maj. Gen. Mark Piper, similarly said, “To defend North America and win tomorrow’s fight, we must maintain our warfighting advantages and operate beyond stove-piped systems operating at human speed. Golden Dome is forging the integrated, automated battle management network needed to see every threat, make decisions in milliseconds, and keep America safe.” In October, defense contractor Lockheed Martin created a prototyping hub for the development of President Donald Trump’s Golden Dome. The Golden Dome for America Command and Control (C2) capability is considered critical for integrating data from sensors and vital to “interceptor launches,” the company explained. Lockheed Martin further plans to conduct an on‑orbit demonstration of a space‑based missile interceptor by 2028. Reports indicate that Anduril Industries and Palantir Technologies are working to develop software for the Golden Dome, as well as Aalyria Technologies, startup Scale AI, and Swoop Technologies.
