@potus18_grant @rhensing That’s excessively high for those temps. Would expect closer to 25% loss. Maybe. Most modern BEV’s have heat pumps and battery management software that greatly reduces range loss in extreme weather. Course I drive 2dr softtop wranglers that get less range than most BEV’s 🤷‍♂️

@cheers1964 @rhensing Several Tesla 3 > 2022. Tesla Y 2023. Cadillac Lyric 2024. Minnesota January averages less than 27deg high temps FYI. The people that tell me this are Tesla fanboys (and girls).

You’re literally retarded if you’d rather own a gas car so that on occasional road trips you spend 5 minutes adding gas vs 23 minutes while also having 4-8x the annual fuel costs and having to drive yourself like a peasant.
Lincoln@MobofJoggers

But electric cars you have to charge forever. Salt Lake City to the Sphere in Vegas. One 23 minute charging session. And I'll be sitting here relaxing as FSD drives us the entire way safely.

@potus18_grant @rhensing I’m curious which EV ur talking about losing 60% in the cold. And what temps? Most modern EV r much better in cold than original. Most have heat pumps, battery management software, etc.

@cheers1964 @rhensing Drive from Minneapolis to New York City in January and come back and complain how many GD times you had to stop and charge and wait for an outlet to open…you get a 60% reduction in range in the cold due to heating use.

@JustAFamilyMan_ I disagree. EXCEPT for a few key states. Namely the Blue Wall states (MI, PA, WI). Those states traditionally vote blue for the last 20+ years. Only flipping red when it was HRC and Harris. That cost the elections. All red states same. But PA is not CA. And MI is not OR

Are people seriously mad that HEB carries Halal meat or is this manufactured social media outrage? What’s the point in being mad about something that literally does not affect you in any way? I don’t get it? Is it that you’re mad they sell something that mostly caters to a non-Christian’s diet? Are you also against kosher foods? I have so many questions…

@TampaIvan @DevinOlsenn Dude, I’ve had one for 10 years, the other 2. Ur creating a problem that most don’t see as a problem. U find driving unbearable? Cool. U found a solution. I’m glad. I never find driving unbearable. Again, less than 15% of Tesla owners have FSD. If u can’t convince them…

Is there something I’m missing? How can people spend 2+ hours a day commuting and then come home and call me stupid for using FSD. There’s no reasonable person on earth that can sit in traffic for an hour driving manually and at the end of their drive be like “hell yeah, let’s do that again everyday mon-fri until I retire!”

@TampaIvan @DevinOlsenn Lastly, I special ordered both my vehicles so I could get 3 peddle driving. This stuff about “all people have to be like Tesla driver” really should stop. Less than 15% of actual Tesla owner buy or have bought FSD. That might be a better place to start.

@cheers1964 @DevinOlsenn You've clearly never used it, otherwise you would know that when you drive the same route everyday you learn where you need to assist and when you can just relax while watching out the front window. I've only driven 7% of the time the last 5,000 miles.

@TampaIvan @DevinOlsenn And yes, I’ve been in multiple vehicles w/various types of advanced drivers aids. Including Tesla. Most work well depending on what they’re designed to do. Thats moot. We have no autonomous system in the US. Thus (unless u want to break the law) u must actively supervise.

@TampaIvan @DevinOlsenn Again, u can say anything u want. The system per Musk, per Tesla, per law, REQUIRES u to be actively supervising at ALL times. Ready to take over at any second. It doesn’t matter how many (or how few) times u do have to take over. Or how many miles u have driven.

@niccruzpatane That doesn’t explain why Tesla (and Ford and GM on majority of vehicles) r so slow in DC fast charging. This is 2026. 10%-80% in under 19m should b the norm. Not the exception.

Exactly. My average charging stop during road trips is usually only ~20-25 minutes. People think you charge from 0-100% at every stop, that’s not the quickest or most efficient way. By the time you get some food and take a break, the car is ready.

Gay male couples adopt boys at massively higher rates: 81.8% boys in one study (vs ~50% for hetero couples). Preferences and outcomes show clear skew to boys. Gay adoption isn't 'love,' it's child abuse that exposes kids to environments with elevated sexual abuse risk. Ban it.

I'm sorry, gay couples should not be allowed to adopt babies. You opted out of God's natural plan. You don't get to confuse a child and mess their life up because you are confused and your life is messed up.

Tesla is suing the state of North Dakota because the state won't allow the company to open any showrooms/service centers and sell direct to consumers. North Dakota law prohibits vehicle manufacturers from owning car dealerships and requires them to sell their products to franchised dealerships for resale to consumers. “Tesla just wants to be able to sell its vehicles in North Dakota, and not force customers who would wish to purchase a Tesla vehicle to have to drive to Minnesota or another state to do it,” said Ari Holtzblatt, one of Tesla’s attorneys in the case. Tesla is asking the court to declare the company does not fall within the definition of manufacturer contained in state law. The term is defined as a person who assembles or imports a motor vehicle and sells it to dealers in the state for resale. It's wild that in 2026, we still have U.S. states that won't allow direct vehicle sales to consumers. It hurts consumers and reduces choice.

@wmorrill3 There is some question about that. EV owners say they will never go back, but trade in’s potentially tell a different story. EV’s are regularly traded for ICE. Now, maybe they still have a 2nd EV vehicle. I’m pro EV. But I don’t think we want to just assume they r some magic.

The thing is almost all EV owners were once ICE vehicle owners, and yet almost none want to go back. That should tell you everything. Take a test drive if you have not experienced it yourself, you wont regret it

I am 62 and I have owned the following vehicles in my life: 1963 Volvo 122S 1962 karma ghia by Volkswagen 1975 toyota corolla 1963 Chevy station wagon 1986 Honda accord LXi 1992 Honda Accord LXi 1995 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer 2000 Eddie Bauer Ford explorer 1999 econoline Ford V8 stretch van 2008 Chevy suburban 2008 Audi A6 station wagon 2011 convertible mini cooper 2016 Ford f150 2018 240i convertible m series bmw 2006 Honda Accord 2008 Ford F350 Latiet diesel 2023 Tesla model 3 performance 2024 Tesla cyber truck foundation series 2026 Tesla Rwd model Y Ask me anything. I am an entrepreneurial female who has owned many businesses and have raised three lovely young men. I have owned, as you can see, my share of cars throughout the years. I am dumbfounded how anyone can buy anything but a Tesla after all I have lived and what I know. Feelings about Elon aside, which I do not fathom either, Teslas by 100x are the most amazing vehicles especially for the price of anything I have ever owned. Everytime I get in the cybertruck, I re live my awe all over again, from the tight turns it takes, how low I can lower it while loading, how it powers my cabin when power goes out, I could go on and on and on - about all the features I love about it besides the basic Tesla features. It is the most amazing vehicle ever produced. I am shocked that anyone can ever buy an ice vehicle if they really researched and knew what they were choosing. Safety, lack of driving fatigue you don’t even realize you have until you don’t have it anymore, quiet, peaceful ride experience, charging clean in my garage for $1 a night, lack of maintenance concern ever, service (I have found to be so pleasant), buying experience (literally takes 5 mins), ease of having others drive with key share, there are just so many things…… it’s remarkable to me when my Tesla is driving down the road by itself, and I look around at that 99.9% of those around me all driving themselves-how dangerous they are compared to me. No shade on them but the fact is, they are a huge liability on the road and I am not. Every accident I have seen in the past three years is an accident that would not have happened in a Tesla world. And I have seen a lot - even fatal ones. It’s so sad to me how the entire global public is being gaslit about teslas - it’s clearly a designed slowdown of adoption - because adoption that would happen if the truth was revealed, would be catastrophic to the old paradigm, the old supply chain, the unions, the car dealerships, the gas stations as they sit a top tanks they would have to be pulled out of the ground (expensive), the insurance and medical industry that makes so much money off the accidents. The list goes on and on about the disruption it would cause if the truth really got out. So the powers that be, lie, to slow down the adoption they know is inevitable, to give themselves time to pivot out of the already obsolete. I am a 62 year old female who has seen and lived a lot in my life - this current state of affairs regarding the wool being pulled over the eyes of the masses, regarding the utter superiority of Tesla- is the most profound phenomenon I have ever lived. It’s truly uncanny.
