I’m calling it: Smart Home is by far my favorite use case for widgets in visionOS 26. I’ve placed a virtual Philips Hue switch in every room of my apartment, and now I can control each room individually—either by looking at it or by tapping the widget. This is incredibly useful if you’re a Hue-obsessed person like me (and Vision Pro-obsessed, of course).

In the past hour, I've spoken to several residents in Los Angeles, who have confirmed that there is a whole lot of NOTHING going on there. The National Guard already there are just guarding 2 federal buildings. So trump's escalation, by sending thousands of National Guard and Marines, is all for show and a STUPID waste of taxpayer funds.

Let’s not get things twisted. The people in LA are protesting because people are being snatched by masked individuals, held in unknown conditions, and being denied due process. People protesting on January 6th were trying to overthrow our government.

Trump is sending 2,000 National Guard troops into LA County — not to meet an unmet need, but to manufacture a crisis. He’s hoping for chaos so he can justify more crackdowns, more fear, more control. Stay calm. Never use violence. Stay peaceful.

The LAPD said that there were no incidents and that the protests today were peaceful. The CA governor is not asking for the national guard. There is no need for the military to be called up for any reason. Do you see what is happening here?
