Hubby and I visited Sanibel Island in Florida this weekend and what I DIDN’T see was more impressive than what I DID see.
I didn’t see homeless people camped on the beach or boardwalk. I didn’t see needles and drug paraphernalia laying around. I didn’t see human feces on the sidewalks. I didn’t see criminals looting stores or attacking people. I didn’t see any of the things that have become the norm in California.
Thank you @GovRonDeSantis for fostering a clean, safe, beautiful paradise and being the governor that America needs.

Japan: longest life expectancy on the planet (around 85 years).
Plant-based advocates: "See? Rice and vegetables!"
Japan's actual diet:
Seafood: by far the most consumed animal protein, around 45-50kg per capita annually
Pork: the most consumed land meat
Chicken: a close second
Beef: expensive but eaten regularly, and prized
Eggs: among the highest per-capita consumption on Earth, often raw on rice
Dashi (fish stock): the base of nearly every savoury dish on the table
Roughly half of Japanese protein comes from animal sources.
Their longevity gets pinned on the rice. Meanwhile they're eating fish at almost every meal, drowning their vegetables in fish stock, cracking eggs into breakfast, and treating beef like a luxury good worth saving up for.
The fish is the meal. The rice is there to mop up the dashi.
Acknowledging any of this would mean admitting that the longest-lived population on Earth eats half its protein from animals. And that conclusion doesn't fit the pamphlet.
So they point at the rice. Hope nobody asks what's on top of it.

This is the plan. Depopulation by starvation is a Bolshevik tradition.

American was driving a brand new 2026 car
The car gave her an alert that said it couldn’t see her eyes. The car then automatically disabled the gas and slowed down enough that it could have caused an accident
She had to lean toward so the car’s facial recognition could register her eyes and stop the “kill switch” because the car thought she might be asleep
“It was a 6 lane highway and all of a sudden the gas stopped working and I'm pressing on the gas. I can't get the car to go. So the car is dinging, it's making all this noise and I can't figure out what's going on. And I look at the dashboard and in English it says, sit up straight. We can't find your eyes.
Why? Why do you need to see my eyes? — when I sat upright, the gas would work once again. And so I pressed the gas, but I was slowing down enough that it was gonna cause a traffic hazard.
And the thing is, it knew I wasn't asleep because I was pressing on the gas. So it knew I was awake. It just wanted to see my eyes. So once I set upright and leaned forward, I guess it did facial recognition. And then it says, may I send you these results to a third party”
This is horrifying considering the new mandate to have kill switches in every new vehicle by 2027. It looks like it’s already happening but overseas, we’re just next
This technology can and will be abused by the government

@FlatEarthDaveX So how do those pretty streaks of light get through your pressure vessel. How do we end up with meteor craters.

I want a truck with no GPS or tracking.
I want a house that doesn't spy on me.
I want a government that builds roads and maintains the military and stays out of my business.
I want the constitution of the United States respected and upheld.
I want the government to be the last thing I ever think about, just like the founders intended.
