@YukkiGarage Most cars look way cleaner without front plates. I wish it was legal to run without them here, like it is in some US states!

@chef_621 Front plates ruin the aesthetic of cars. I moved from California (requires front plates) to South Carolina (does not require) and it was like "wow cars can actually look nice here... What a concept" lol

I know that in some states in the US, front license plates aren't mandatory. While it’s strictly illegal in Japan, I personally think cars look much better without them. Do Americans also feel that having no front plate is the cooler look?

@chef_621 自分のコブラの前オーナーはフロントプレート付けなきゃいけないカリフォルニア州内での所有だったけど、付けていなかったようです 結構ユルい？ アメリカのネットフォーラムとかソーシャルメディアに投稿すると、「そのフロントプレートがな...」「そんなもん取っちまえ！」ってたまに書かれます😅

@Carrozzzeria The car definitely looks sleeker without the front plate. It's likely just a dream, but I hope Japan allows plate-less driving someday.

@chef_621 Not often, and the few times I do see one, it's an NB or NC. My two favorite, the NA and ND, are particularly rare to see. But if course, I see an ND every day in my driveway 😎😎

@PulpoNewman Front plates definitely look better off; it makes the car look so much cooler than the ones in Japan! By the way, do you see Miatas around often in the States?

@chef_621 Absolutely. My girlfriend and I were going to move to Montana, which requires them. However, our current state Kentucky does not. I would hate to see Miata-Chan with a front plate! After all, where would it even go?!

@z33004 If it’s been no problem for eight years, it’s basically legal at this point... And man, that 350Z looks sick!

@chef_621 I think it’s technically illegal in Texas, but in the 8 years I’ve had this car, the police haven’t stopped me for it. And yes, no front plate is usually cooler lol

@joshwertheim Do the police actually find it a hassle to crack down on each and every one of those things?

@chef_621 In California you must use a front plate. However, I left it off my ZC6 until I got two citations, so I gave up. But since I switched to my GR Corolla I haven't used the front plate (1.5 years). so far so good lol.

@chef_621 I always used to run no front plate on my Hondas when I used to live in the US (my state required them)
